About Us
what we do
The Bach PTO is a 501(c)3 organization that works in support of the students, teachers, staff, and families of Bach Elementary School. Our mission is to:
-
promote the educational and emotional well-being of Bach students
-
encourage closer cooperation and understanding among parents, staff, and students
-
represent Bach School parents and teachers to community and public school organizations
-
provide a forum for investigation and discussion of issues pertaining to our school and community and engage in appropriate action on such issues
-
provide to the school appropriate services that would not otherwise be provided.
All Bach parents and caregivers are members of the PTO and are welcome at all meetings. Join us!
THE PTO RAISES MONEY FOR:
-
Teacher Budgets Each classroom and specials teacher can get what they need to teach virtually

Professional Development We pay for teachers to attend conferences and workshops, as well as purchasing books and materials
-
Online Curriculum Enrichment Scholastic Kids, Mystery Science and more
-
Hosting free or low-cost community events We are working on ways to host our popular events virtually, including Family Science Night, Art Night, and Heritage Festival
-
Maintaining a fund to support families in need
In addition to direct financial support, the PTO develops and manages programs that support our school, such as:

Room Parent Program Each classroom has dedicated parent volunteers that assist with communication, events, teacher appreciation, and classroom volunteers

Teacher Appreciation Bach PTO loves our teachers, and we like to show it!

Multicultural Outreach We are committed to welcoming international families.
